Sajeng Patala Spirit

Exquisitely crafted liquor made through the renowned Balinese tradition.

Sajeng Patala Spirit is created through the fermentation and distillation of palm wine. The blending process involves utilizing the Resting and Aging method for 30 days, followed by filtration with charcoal. Throughout the blending process, various distinctive Nusantara spices are incorporated, such as cinnamon, star anise, black pepper, cloves, and nutmeg. Our approach is rooted in cultural traditions and a deep reverence for Mother Nature.

Our Story
Sajeng – a term denoting beverages handcrafted by the Balinese locals. Patala – derived from Sanskrit, signifies the often overlooked lower layer of life that requires balance alongside others. Balance is a fundamental aspect we emphasize in community life across various domains.

“We advocate for respecting all beings, showing regard for others, and cultivating appreciation for the Creator.”

Empowering marginalized local farmers is one of our core missions. With each production batch of “Sajeng Patala Spirit,” we support and uplift 42 sugar palm farmers in Sibetan Village, Karangasem, Bali by sourcing Tuak from them, which is then distilled into Arak. We stand in solidarity with the people, honor their culture, and hold deep respect for Mother Nature.
